WoW

So I finally gave up WoW. I'm one of the few who thought Wrath of the Lich King was actually pretty good because I could play it semi casually and still do most of the raids and dungeons. Cataclysm came along and the amount of time you have to sink into it to get even one or two pieces of gear is simply astounding. Does Blizzard think their playerbase is made up of a bunch of 15 year olds on permanent holidays?

I will admit though, the new questing was very fun, especially the new questchain in Redridge. My friend and I did the whole thing together and it was a blast. Outland remains a big problem though. It's just a place no one really wants to be. Its got terrible old style quests and some really boring looks. I mean Hellfire Peninsula is just orangey red everywhere, with 'Kill 10 HELLboars for a new sword' everywhere.

While I enjoyed my time with WoW, it just doesn't interest me anymore.

Onto bigger and better things!

  1. You know you're going to have to go to a group now, and get coins for every X days you're WOW-free, right?
